About us
Hylestad Solutions AS is the developer of Safeloq. It all started with friends from Setesdal — Kjetil, Såvi and Jardar.
They have known each other since childhood, and have backgrounds in industry and offshore.
Kjetil's experience from offshore eventually identified a clear need: there was no simple and safe solution for fastening systems without loose parts.
They decided to develop one themselves.
The result was Safeloq - a new type of shackle with double locking mechanism, developed and tested in Norway.
An idea born in Setesdal in 2020 that is now making lifts safer across the country.
Kjetil Bjørgum
The inventor of Safeloq, with over 12 years of industry experience from offshore.
Jardar Rike
A business economist with extensive experience in financial control and management, and has led the projects to produce and certify Safeloq.
Såvi Stubseid
A computer engineer responsible for product development and the preparation of documentation and risk assessments for Safeloq.
